2024 Cinsaut
Cinsaut is a bit of an oddball in the vineyard. It produces huge oval grapes that resemble black olives making it a great eating grape too. It, however, doesn’t seem to ripen gradually. Instead, all of a sudden it has great flavor when the day before it seemingly had none.
This vintage shows dusty cherry, ripe plum and strawberry with deep violet, cotton candy and dried herbal aromatics. Ripe, lifted fruit on the palate with a light, lingering finish.
