2024 Fenaughty Syrah

The Fenaughty vineyard is located in Apple Hill and is the second oldest planting of syrah in El Dorado County. We ferment it simply and age it for a year in old, neutral oak barrels so all you taste is the fruit itself.  Check out the delightful aromatics of black currant and fresh raspberry framed by a sweet spice note reminiscent of Chinese Five Spice, like ginger, star anise, clove and black pepper. It also has a floral quality with barbeque smoke.
